The Free Association is not only London's best improv comedy club, it's also a place of learning. Already running London's best improv comedy training, and when combined with the talents of the UK's most accomplished sketch writers - The Dawson Brothers, they run THE SKETCH CLASS! At the end of every course we record a live audience podcast. HERE IT IS!

Mike’s improvisational roots go back to 1997 in Los Angeles with Comedy Sportz. Mike is most proud of co-founding Ultimate Improv (The Space) and working in Amsterdam for the world famous Boom Chicago Theatre. He’s also performed for Second City, but now lives in London and can be seen playing with The Free Association, The Bishop, and GTI. Not to mention his two man, long form show with Jim Woods. When he’s not performing, Mike teaches improv and coaches several teams in London. He is also the Head Corporate writer at Boom Chicago.

Steve has written sketches for nearly every comedy show on TV as 'The Dawson Brothers' - A team of comedy writers who have written on a plethora of British comedy shows, including the hit comedies That Mitchell and Webb Look, Lee Mack's All-Star Cast and The Jonathan Ross Show. Their sketch for The One Ronnie on BBC1 starring Ronnie Corbett and Harry Enfield is the most viewed BBC clip online.

They have developed a number of projects for the BBC and Channel 4. Their sketch show for BBC3, Funtime, was nominated for a Rocky Award at the Banff International Television Festival.
